Vincent not guilty of break-and-enter, threats

Wave FM radio announcer Greg Vincent has been found not guilty of breaking into his ex-lover's home and threatening her.

Vincent, 49, closed his eyes as the jury spokesperson delivered the not guilty verdict just after 10.30am this morning.

It took the jury of 10 men and two women just over an hour to reach the verdict.

Vincent had pleaded not guilty to one count of aggravated breaking and entering to commit a serious indictable offence of intimidation.

He vehemently denied allegations he broke into his former mistresses' home on December 28 last year, grabbed her by the throat and threatened her, stating they were "absolutely ridiculous" during the four-day trial in Wollongong District Court this week.

Defence solicitor Tony Autore made an application for costs in the matter this morning.

It is set to be heard next month.
