An injection of money is not the only requirement that is needed to improve the level of education in the country.
Respect needs to return to those who teach. Teachers are sworn at, ignored and in some occasions physically abused.
Sometimes, parents are also victims of such behaviours.
Our children are angry and we need to find out why.
Too much money is being spent on cure and not enough on prevention.
I do not have all the answers but what I have observed is that children's behaviours have changed considerably since mobile phones have been readily available to them.
Mobile phones are a distraction and they should not be readily available in a class environment.
It is my opinion that there needs to be an injection of mobile phone lockers.
I have heard parents use the argument that this will put their children's safety as risk where it will also take away their liberty.
Those who say this are contributing to the already difficult environment that teachers face on a daily basis.
