A man has been charged after he allegedly rammed two police cars to avoid apprehension in Albion Park Rail yesterday.

About 5.30pm Sunday, officers from Lake Illawarra Local Area Command and the Police Dog Unit, attempted to pull over a Holden Commodore on Wollybutt Drive.
The driver and sole occupant of the Commodore allegedly reversed into one police car, before ramming another police car to try and avoid apprehension.
Officers were able to arrest the driver, a 35-year-old man from Albion Park Rail, before he could drive away.
The driver, who was wanted by police for alleged domestic violence offences, was taken to Lake Illawarra police station.
He was charged with, use vehicle to avoid apprehension, drive manner dangerous, breach domestic apprehended violence order (x2), and stalking/intimidation.
He was refused bail and is due to appear at Port Kembla Local Court today on Moday, May 25.
