The first three people among 19 charged during a large-scale drug operation in Shoalhaven and around Sydney over the past two days, have appeared in Nowra Local Court.

Jason Keith Aitken, 38, of the Gateway Caravan Park, Pleasant Way, Nowra appeared before Magistrate Susan McGowan late on Wednesday afternoon facing 16 charges.
He faces seven counts of supplying a prohibited drug, one count of supplying a prohibited drug on an ongoing basis, seven counts of supplying an indictable quantity of prohibited drugs and one count of taking part in the supply of a commercial quantity of prohibited drugs.
The charges stem from the supply of methamphetamine on a number of occasions at numerous locations including the Gateway Caravan Park and an industrial complex in Geary Avenue, North Nowra.
It is alleged one deal started in the car park of the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre.
Police said the deals ranged in size from .07 grams through to 88 grams of the drug ice, ranging in price from $90 up to $22,400.
They allege there were three $7500 deals for 28.4 grams, 27.77 grams and 27.6 grams of the drug; two $15,000 purchases for 60 grams and 57.13 grams and one of 88 grams costing $22,400 over a period from February 6 to June 3 when he was arrested.
Aitken didn’t enter a plea and was refused bail to appear in Nowra Local Court on July 7.
Neil Thomas Sutton, 42, of Moss Street, Nowra, faces 11 charges, seven of suppling a prohibited drug and four of taking part in the supply of a prohibited drug.
The charges stem from the alleged supply of cannabis, ranging up to an ounce of the drug, as well as methamphetamine from properties in Moss and Wallace streets in Nowra, Filter Road, West Nowra and Clipper Road, Nowra between February 19 and June 3.
He is also alleged to have transported a quantity of drugs to Batemans Bay and Moruya.
Upon his arrest Sutton is alleged to have said to police, “This will be an interesting day won’t it”.
Sutton was refused bail and will reappear in Nowra Local Court on July 15.
Katherine Jane Davison, 24, of Katela Avenue, Bomaderry, faces four charges of supplying a prohibited drug and with supplying drugs on an ongoing basis.
She allegedly sold 1.4 grams of a yellow powder substance known as NN Dimethyltryptamine (DMT), three tablets of methylenedioxymethylamphetamine (MDMA), and five speckled ‘‘Dior’’ tablets between May 7 and May 21 at locations at Torridon Street, East Nowra, and the McDonald’s car park at South Nowra.
She was also refused bail to reappear in Nowra Local Court on July 7.
Acting on information from the public police staged a number of raids throughout the Shoalhaven on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning arresting 19 people and seizing five firearms.
The other 16 offenders are expected to appear in Nowra Local Court on Thursday.
Police said investigations were continuing and more arrests were expected.
