The college's under-13, under-15, year 10 and open sides took part in the two-hour session.
Spurs sent down four Academy coaches, who are responsible for developing some of England's most talented players from junior level to the senior team at the North London club.
The 60 Edmund Rice students were put through their paces in a thorough skills examination, finished off with a question-and-answer session about what it takes to be a professional player in the EPL.
Among those attending the clinic was Edmund Rice's Australian under-15s captain Dylan Ryan, who is trialling for a spot at the Australian Institute of Sport's soccer program.
Edmund Rice has high-quality soccer programs and this year had 75 students trial to make its two under-13 rep teams.
The 13s were to play in the Diocesan Carnival but a washout meant they will now take on local schools St Joseph's and Corpus Christi Catholic high schools in a round-robin day.
Edmund Rice's under-15s have also won two rounds in the statewide Bill Turner Cup, beating TIGs 9-1 in round one and Dapto High 9-0 in round two.
Among Edmund Rice's top open players is Stefan Dimoski, recently selected in the talented Combined Catholic Colleges squad. The visit by Spurs was arranged by an Edmund Rice old boy via the event management firm organising the Spurs tour.
