Iconic images of the female upper body tend to be all about cleavage, but some are defined more by muscle than cup size. Rewind to the 1980s sci-fi classic Aliens and there was Sigourney Weaver's athletic Ellen Ripley, followed by Linda Hamilton muscling up as Sarah Connor in 1991's Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Then along came Hilary Swank throwing punches in Million Dollar Baby, Michelle Rodriguez as the strong-armed pilot in Avatar - and now Charlize Theron inMad Max: Fury Road.
