Detectives from the Hume Local Area Command began an investigation last week after several items of contraband were discovered in the Goulburn Correctional Centre by staff of Corrective Services NSW.
Following investigations, about 8.30am Thursday, June 11, detectives executed a search warrant on a home in Nowra where several items of interest were seized for further examination.
A 37-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and taken to Nowra Police Station. She is assisting detectives from the Hume Local Area Command with inquiries.
Inquiries into the matter are continuing.
