Head to Madagascar and support Illawarra families

Hours of laughs and a chance to support local kids and their families will go hand-in-hand at a family movie day to be held at Hoyts Warrawong this Saturday.

Starting at 2pm on September 15, kids and their parents will be able to catch animated comedy Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted, with tickets on sale until Thursday.

Profit from ticket sales will go toward enhancing the services provided by Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District’s (ISLHD) Community Child and Family Services.

Child and Family Community Health staff will also have an information stand set up at the cinema on the day.

Child and Family Community Health offers both hospital care and community services for families. It provides care to families during their baby’s early years of life and throughout childhood.

Families receive universal screening, development assessments, support, groups, home visiting and clinics. These services support families with children that have chronic illness or disability plus children that, with intervention, will attain normal growth and development.

Tickets to the family movie day must be purchased before Thursday, with no tickets available for purchase on the day.

Tickets are $10 per person for the movie only or $17.50 a movie ticket, popcorn and a drink.
