The new Kings Cross: lockout laws send revellers to Newtown, and alcohol-related crimes rise

As Kings Cross has been forced to turns off its lights, late-night revellers are moving across town to get down and dirty in Newtown, leading to an 18 per cent increase in violent alcohol-related crimes in the area.
