The top junior gymnasts from around the country competed at Hisense Arena with Carmel and Co juniors Miranda Blades and Olivia Falconer starring in their 10-Years category.
The girls were representing NSW in International Level 8 competition and finished a fine third overall.
Robert Fasone continued his excellent season and helped NSW finish second in Level 9 Open division, while Zac Paplauskas also did well in his individual Level 7 Open category.
Following the national championships, Olivia Falconer and Miranda Blades - plus three other Carmel and Co gymnasts - were named in a Team Future Camp to be held at the Australian Institute of Sport.
The Team Future Camp is a formal recognition of the potential of some of the youngest and most talented gymnasts in Australia, with Carmel and Co juniors filling five spots on the nation-wide squad.
The Team Future Camp gymnasts will have access to national coaches and get some of the most advanced training available.
Olivia Falconer has been announced a high achiever in her development meaning she now has a ranking in the top three in her age group.
Her significant improvement this year is testimony to the hard work she is putting in during her sessions at Carmel and Co and in training and competition.
