A fourth person has been charged over what police believe were two racially-motivated assaults upon a Syrian refugee in Wollongong.

A 21-year-old Syrian National was with friends at a park on Burelli Street on April 18, when he was approached by a group of people.
The group allegedly assaulted the man and a woman allegedly threw a stick at him.
On June 4, the 21-year-old man was at a community centre on the corner of Burelli and Kenny streets with a group of friends about 7.20pm.
The man and his friends were leaving the centre when they were approached by another group of people, including a female who allegedly began to abuse the group about their ethnic background.
Two males, aged 18 and 16, who were with the female, allegedly assaulted the 21-year-old Syrian National, and pushed him into a motorcycle that was parked on Burelli Street, causing it to fall.
The owner of the motorbike, an 18-year-old man, allegedly joined in the assault and punched and kicked the 21-year-old.
Another woman, aged 18, allegedly assaulted the man before she ran from the location.
The man was left with serious facial injuries, including a broken nose, and treated at Wollongong Hospital.
Police from Wollongong Local Area Command attended the scene and began an investigation into the two incidents.
An 18-year-old woman attended Wollongong Police Station on Wednesday where she was arrested.
The woman was charged with two counts of common assault and affray.
She was given conditional bail and will front Port Kembla Local Court on July 14.
Investigators have previously arrested and charged two 18-year-old men and a 16-year-old teen with affray and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The two men will appear in Port Kembla Local Court on June 30, while the 16-year-old will front Port Kembla Children’s Court on June 29.
