The 22-year-old from Lethbridge Park appeared in Blacktown Local Court on Friday where the charge was formally withdrawn by police.
Wilkie, who sparked widespread outrage when she was filmed smoking a bong while pregnant on SBS documentary Struggle Street, was accused of attempting to escape law enforcement authorities at Blacktown on May 6.
On that day she appeared at Blacktown Local Court on shoplifting and driving while disqualified charges.
Wilkie, who also uses the name Billie Jo Whawell, had been brought before the court for breaching good behaviour bonds.
She was convicted and placed on an 18-month good behaviour bond and told to accept supervision from community corrections officers.
Just over a week later – and less than 24 hours after the confronting footage of her smoking cannabis and cigarettes in the final trimester of her third pregnancy aired nationally – Wilkie was caught driving while disqualified twice in one day.
Police said Wilkie was pulled over at Shalvey and checks revealed she was a disqualified driver and the Ford Falcon she was driving was unregistered.
Six hours later she was pulled over in Lethbridge Park for a random breath test. She was refused bail and spent the night in police custody before appearing in Mt Druitt Local Court.
The court heard she was already on bail for the escape attempt and she was remanded in custody. She was being kept in segregation at Silverwater Women's Correctional Centre because of her notoriety, the court heard.
The escape charge has now been withdrawn. She will reappear in court for her other matters on a later date.
