A doctor has been knocked unconscious and robbed on his way to work during an assault in Nowra overnight.
Police and paramedics were called and took the man to Shoalhaven District Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Police believe the attack was random and are calling for anyone who witnessed the assault, or any suspicious activity in the area, to contact them.
