Saturday night was the penultimate round of this term's Midnight Basketball tournament.
Two special guests from the Wollongong Hawks, Tyson Demos and Auryn MacMillan, came along for the evening to give the young players some tips and inspiration.
With a couple of professional players in the mix, it seemed that all the teams were extra ready to show off their skills on the court.
MacMillan became a temporary universal player for the night's tournament, alternating between teams and demonstrating his incredible basketball abilities.
At 203 centimetres, MacMillan entertained the players and volunteers with some huge slam-dunks.
In the educational workshop, the young players generated some great discussion about being cybersmart. The players engaged with the complex issues surrounding cyber bullying and the use of social networking sites.
A lot of the games went down to the buzzer this week, many finishing with only a couple of points difference between the teams.
In the only draw of the night, Brodie from the Maroon Team shot a massive two-pointer just before full-time to level the scoreboard at 30-30 against the Red Team.
The only blowout defeat came in the Players vs Volunteers game, with the players demolishing the volunteers and doubling their score. Next week is this term's grand final.
