Two of those will be Senior Constable Jye Sommers and Constable Glenn Fisher, who gained their motorcycle learner's licences especially for the ride.
The two Lake Illawarra police officers, helped by Trevor Jordan Motorcycles and Fraser Motorcycles, will join an expected 150 local riders to assemble at Kiama on September 12 for the trek to Canberra's National Police Memorial.
They will join thousands of officers from across the country who will converge on the capital.
Lake Illawarra Inspector Paul Allman said the Wall To Wall ride was an important fund-raising and awareness campaign for Police Legacy.
"They support police families and kids, help with tuition and scholarship, and keep an eye on the kids," Inspector Allman said.
"You end up with 2000 bikes riding into Canberra. Camaraderie is high, and it's a great weekend to raise money."
