The Power trailed by 25 points at halftime but a seven goal third term was the difference in Thursday night’s 14.6 (90) to 11. 5 (70) win at Bonaira Oval.

 Dan Hodges booted six goals for the Bulldogs who now at the end of a tough month due to the university semester break and are remain equal second, ahead of the other two games in round 13.

  Jaiden Brown was outstanding for Kiama and booted two goals along with Josh Krull, Ricky Neels and Harry Dobson who all kicked two goals.

  The top goalkickers along with Glen Haworth, Jack Bateman and Charlie Wood were outstanding for Kiama who join Northern Districts and the Bulldogs in equal second spot.

 Braydan Beesley, Mitch Nicholson and Dan Hodges led the way for the Bulldogs who are chasing a fourth straight premiership and should be back to full strength for next Saturday  away clash with Bomaderry.

 In Saturday's  other round 13 matches, Northern Districts can claim second spot by beating Bomaderry at Artie Smith Oval.

 A desperate Bomaderry are coming off a hard-fought five goal loss to Kiama and need a win to remain in the final’s race.

  Unbeaten leaders Wollongong Lions return from the bye to host Shellharbour Suns at North Dalton Park. (2.10pm)

The Suns had a good win over Nowra in round 12 and will want to put in a strong showing against the competition’s top side. Nowra have the bye.

 In Sydney AFL under 19s Division One , South Coast Thunder are coming off a strong win over East Coast and host St George at North Dalton Park (4.10pm).

 The Thunder are in their first season of Sydney AFL and have won four games, while  St George (7-5) are fourth.

  A big day at North Dalton Park on Saturday  begins with the Wollongong Saints Womens Division One side hosting second-placed Newtown (10am).
