They did that recently in a staged photo shoot that made it look like Crown Street Mall was on fire.
In fact the flames were digitally inserted into an image taken by photographer Alex Sturman.
The image was taken under the creative direction of Robyn David te Velde and graphic art enhancement was done by Deidre Jones, of Dreams Designs.
Fashion was provided by Black Pepper in Wollongong Central.
Ms Cignarella is in the foreground of the shot taken by Mr Sturman.
She is one of the highest fund-raisers to date in the Highlights on Mental Health campaign running between now and October.
NSW Fire and Rescue helped stage the photo in Crown Street Mall to call for models from all over Australia to enter Illawarra’s Top Model and raise money for the cause.
The photo shoot was also used to promote the Shoot the Model 2015 photographic competition.
The Highlights on Mental Health campaign was founded by Mrs te Velde who said the Shoot The Model competition encouraged Illawarra photographers to come up with quirky ideas for a great photograph.
‘‘Creative photographers are encouraged to collaborate with models, hairdressers, fashion stylists and makeup artists to complete a great picture, featuring anything about models,’’ Mrs te Velde said.
‘‘And the first 50 entrants in the model competition will be in the draw for a $500 shopping Voucher to spend in Wollongong Central ... drawn soon.’’
The winner, announced in October, will win a modelling contract in Europe with Paul James Hay’s modelling agency, CORE Artist Management.
Mr Hay is Mrs te Velde’s son.
The competition is one of three fund-raising activities aimed at raising awareness of mental health in the Illawarra in support of the Light and Hope Clubhouse in Wollongong.
No previous modelling experience is required as the judges are looking for a fresh look.
