The steel company is part of the "Illawarra consortia" pushing to have Port Kembla considered as a possible relocation site for Fleet Base East at Garden Island.
In its The Jewel of the East Coast report released this week, BlueScope has outlined at least four possible locations for the navy close to the harbour.
"BlueScope has a number of offices and industrial warehousing facilities that are surplus to their current steelmaking requirements and could be made available for licence (lease) and in some case, for purchase," the report states.
"Surplus facilities within their main manufacturing footprint would only be considered on a licence basis."
These locations include the Steelhaven and CRM sites along Old Port Road, currently being used by BlueScope for logistics and services, or by third parties on short to mid-term leases.
A block on the western side of the Princes Motorway at Unanderra - known as "Stainless" - could also be leased.
"While located further away from the outer harbour, it has good road and rail access."
A vacant industrial site on Springhill Road, the "Horse Paddock", is also available for immediate sale.
"BlueScope would support further discussions with the RAN to ascertain how these assets could be utilised to provide land-based capability to a marine set of requirements," the report stated.
"BlueScope would also entertain site visits by RAN personnel to allow them to explore the suitability of its surplus property for RAN requirements."
BlueScope was contacted for further comment but declined.
