Jetstar has delayed two Bali flights on Wednesday morning, as winds push the ash cloud towards Denpasar airport. The airline cancelled four flights from Perth and Melbourne to Bali on Tuesday night.
Flight JQ43 to Bali was due to leave Melbourne at 9.15am, but will instead leave at 1.15pm. Flight JQ44 from Bali to Melbourne has been delayed four hours, and rescheduled for 6.30pm.
Virgin Australia has also delayed two flights from Australia to Bali.
Both airlines have warned that conditions are likely to deteriorate throughout the day.
The volcano has played havoc with flights since it began spewing corrosive, silica-based ash in early July, during the peak school holiday season.
Mount Raung is one of the most active volcanoes on the Indonesian island of Java, about 140 kilometres west of Bali.
Passengers are advised to check the status of their scheduled flights online.
