A 10-day search starts on Wednesday for a presenter for a new digital lifestyle show called In The Loop being produced by Wollongong-based creative company Relativity.
Applicants are encouraged to think outside the square and show their creativity by entering a 60-second audition video.
Applicants enter via intheloop.tv, executive producer Gerardo Ceres said.
"We want each entrant to present who they are, why they want to be host and what is their favourite thing about Wollongong and the South Coast?
"Audition videos will be hosted on the In The Loop YouTube page and promoted through Facebook at facebook.com/intheloop.tv ."
Entries close on Friday, August 28 and there is a competition for the most popular audition video on social media.
The popular vote winner will be announced on September 7 but Mr Ceres said they would not necessarily be the winner of the talent search.
He said panel of judges would select the male and female presenters.
"Entries will be shortlisted to a group of finalists who will participate in a live audition," he said. "The finalists will be announced on September 8."
The first episode of In The Loop will be filmed in mid September and distributed via YouTube.
The lifestyle show will promote Wollongong and the Illawarra as an exciting place to live, work and play.
