Community is the foundation of Spring into Corrimal and this year the festival will support three local groups.
Circus Monoxide and Thirroul Neighbourhood Centre are two of the recipients and food support charity Need a Feed was recently named as the third.
Corrimal Chamber of Commerce president Paul Boultwood said Need A Feed had been on his radar for the past 18 months.
"I've been really impressed by how she [Need a Feed founder Shaz Harrison-Shaw] started this up and she's done it all off her own back," Mr Boultwood said.
"We're saying to people, come to Spring into Corrimal, it's not going to cost you anything. But if you can bring just one can of non-perishable goods and give it to Shaz, then she can continue to do the good work she does for the community."
Thirroul Neighbourhood Centre recently had all its federal funding cut.
"They're not asking for money, all they're asking is if people can drop off hygiene products, like soap, so that they can help the people that they do," Mr Boultwood said.
Circus Monoxide is a contemporary circus company, which sponsors and runs classes for disadvantaged students. It recently raised $15,000 to save its troupe with the support of the community and will be performing at Spring into Corrimal.
Corrimal RSL chief executive officer Bernie Brown said giving back was an important part of the festival.
Spring into Corrimal will be held on September 13, and feature food, stalls, a parade and performances. Last year it attracted almost 50,000 people.
