Oak Flats Cricket Club's most famous brothers, Brett and Shane Lee, will be special guests at the club's 40th anniversary dinner in October.
Brett claimed 310 Test wickets and along with Shane won the World Cup and will join Rats players and officials from four decades at the gala celebration at the Illawarra Yacht Club on October 3.
Brett and Shane were Oak Flats juniors and played senior cricket for the Rats in their teens before being fast-tracked into the first class arena for NSW and then an international career for Australia.
All-rounder Shane captained NSW during a long first-class career, and played 45 one day internationals for Australia from 1995-2001, including being part of the World Cup-winning squad in 1999.
His younger brother Brett then broke into the Australian Test team in a memorable debut home series against India and went on to dominate the Test area for more than 16 years.
Brett retired last season after taking 310 wickets in 76 Tests, and claimed 380 scalps in 221 one-day internationals and made 25 Twenty20 appearances for Australia.
Brett was also a member of Australia's 2003 World Cup-winning squad in South Africa.
Oak Flats Cricket Club wants all former players and supporters to attend the dinner and celebrate four decades in the South Coast competition.
The anniversary night will include the announcement of three new life members.
Oak Flats have been one of the strongest junior and senior South Coast clubs and last season made the final of the two-day, one-day and Twenty20 competitions.
The Rats won their last two-day, first grade premiership in 2006-07, plus won the 2012-13 and 2009-10 one-day titles, plus three of the past five T20 crowns.
The anniversary dinner is by pre-booked ticket only, with bookings before September 6.
