Campbelltown coach Owen Gregory all but dared rivals to write off the Harlequins when the four-team finals series kicks off this weekend.
Despite losing last Saturday's season-ending road clash with University 27-25, the Quinnies clinched fourth spot and will square off with Kiama in Sunday's minor semi-final at Camden Rugby Park.
Kiama squashed the Wollongong Vikings' last-ditch play-off hopes with a 33-12 victory over the Blueys at Vikings Field.
The Harlequins started the season with five straight wins before injuries and a drop in form brought them back to the pack.
They gamely battled through the adversity, holding off Vikings' challenge over the past month to secure a semi-finals invitation.
"It's good to get there. It's been a hard old slog during the year, but we're in now so we can start looking forward to playing Kiama," Gregory said.
"We're certainly not there to make up the numbers, not any more. We're there for a reason.
"We've got a few guys back over the last few weeks and I've got another couple to come back this week, so that's going to help us even more. We're not far off full strength.
"We nearly got over Uni today. I wouldn't say we've come good at the right time of the year, but we've now started to build that momentum that I always spoke about during the year."
Kiama scored a 50-0 road win over Campbelltown earlier in the season before the Quinnies turned the tables three weeks ago with a 16-13 defeat of the Cows at Kiama Showground.
Gregory said his side would head into Sunday's do-or-die showdown armed with plenty of purpose and belief.
"Even though we lost today the boys were very excited," he said. "We were happy with most of that performance. I'd say we're happy with 90 per cent of what we're doing and there's always room for improvement."
The Avondale Wombats flexed their muscles ahead of Saturday's major semi-final against University, crossing for 14 tries in an 82-0 rout of Woonona Shamrocks.
Avondale finished on 87 points for the season, losing just one of their 18 games. They scored a staggering 48.6 points per game and conceded 9.8.
Wooden spooners Tech Waratahs went out with a bang, claiming their second win of the season with a 15-5 defeat of Bowral at Eridge Park, while Camden wrapped up a disappointing campaign with a 17-15 triumph over Shoalhaven.
