Having already set the track alight, boom sprinter Fantastic Dotty will push for Group 1 glory with a start in next week's Dapto Megastar.
The record-breaking pup was named as one of five invitees to the $67,500-to-the-winner decider this week, just days after claiming a gutsy victory in the Group 3 Dean Industrial Dapto Maiden Classic final (520m).
Trained at Appin by Jason Fletcher, Fantastic Dotty, twice lowered the track record in the series where she eventually set a new best of 29.34secs.
Her class came to the fore in the Maiden final when she missed the kick and came from worse, than mid-field, to overrun Tilly's Boy in a smart 29.85 secs.
Fletcher hopes Fantastic Dotty can now take the next step.
"She put in a terrific effort there last week and now she will have a week off to fire up for the Megastar," the trainer said.
"With a time like 29.34, if she can draw a box and repeat that performance, you'd have to think she will be thereabouts.
"This will be my first starter in the race. I have had dogs [in the Megastar] before as a caretaker trainer, but not officially.
"Dapto is my home track along with Bulli and it would make it all the more special if I could win my first Group1 in my home town."
Fantastic Dotty heads the invitees alongside Group1 National Sprint Championship runner-up Bessy Boo as well as Group winners Rue De Kahn, Keybow and Flash Reality.
The three other spots will be filled by the placegetters in this Thursday's Megastar Prelude.
Nowra trainer Steve White will attempt to qualify Rare Pearl in the prelude from box three.
White won the South Coast's richest race last year with Tommy Brislane.
Fletcher also has the chance to qualify a second runner Fantastic Spiral in box six.
"He has come up with a shocking box. He has got box six and the dog in box seven is a 'crasher' so he will need to avoid the seven," Fletcher said.
"But he is 100 per cent fit and raring to go. If he gets a clear run, he will put in a big performance."
The Prelude is at 9.05pm.
