The football behemoth has been accused by hygiene inspectors from the local Trafford Council of failing to take proper measures to control pests within its kitchens.
Mice have long been a problem at Old Trafford, largely, it is thought, because of the stadium's location beside a canal.

Rodents have infested stands, food outlets and even been seen running across the turf during games.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the council report warned the club that it is "failing to implement adequate procedures to control pests within the food areas".
It says all entry points to rooms in which food is kept should be replaced or repaired.
