Thousands of people flocked to Dapto to check out all the rides, food and fun on offer at the Dapto Show and Dapto Street Fair over the weekend.
The 158th Dapto Show, usually in January, was held at Dapto Showground on Saturday. The aim was to set it apart from all the other shows over summer.
Dapto Agricultural and Horticultural Society secretary Katrina Novak said the show went really well.
"We had free entry and we got a lot more people through the gates," she said.
"It was really targeted to young families and children. We had kids' rides, a pet competition, free jumping castle, Matilda's Farmyard and the wrestling heroes."
Next year's show will again be held on the first Saturday in September.
There were also big crowds at Dapto Street Fair on Sunday, enjoying amusement rides, music and food.
Dapto Chamber of Commerce secretary Rita Webb estimated the crowd to be 8000-strong, up on last year, with lots of local businesses taking part.
"It was well patronised," she said.
"We had lots of different food stalls and the entertainment was excellent."
