I notice that Wollongong City Council has cracked down on people parking cars for sale at some areas on weekends, with rangers issuing fines and signs installed as a warning not to park, ie North Dalton Park.
Many people do this, as often it leads to a sale without the need for advertising. Wouldn't it be a great bit of goodwill by the council to allow organised parking at these areas for a nominal fee (ie purchase a permit voucher), which could be a revenue raiser for the council or a fund-raiser for a charity.
I am sure people would rather put their hand in their pocket to help a good cause and sell their car, rather than be fined for trying.
