Organisers Emily Squires and Chantelle Droic are keeping tight-lipped about what’s in store for those taking part in the 2015 race this Friday, but it’s sure to be fun.
Twenty teams of four have already signed up, although registrations remain open until 9am on race day.
The event will kick off at the Novotel Northbeach at 12.30pm and teams will have three hours to get through 20 checkpoints along Wollongong’s foreshore. This year there’s also a shorter course from 3.30pm to suit families.
Organisers hope to raise $15,000 this year which will be shared between Mission Australia and the Illawarra Light and Hope Mental Health Clubhouse.
