More than a dozen police officers search for the body of missing Mannum mother Jody Meyers this morning, September 25, with the help of Murray Bridge's State Emergency Service.
Police have shown particular interest in a Mannum property where Ms Meyers' partner's parents reside.
They believe the 20-year-old's body has been buried under concrete in a tool shed in the backyard.
Ms Meyers' partner, Neil Acher, 29, was arrested in relation to Ms Meyers' murder today.
He was refused bail and is expected to appear in court this afternoon, September 25.
Police have also charged Mr Archer's mother, Margaret Archer, with theft, after she allegedly used Ms Meyers' ATM card to withdraw money.
South Australia Police have arrested a 29-year-old Mannum man for the murder of missing woman Jody Meyers.
Major Crime detectives charged the man, believed to be Ms Meyers' partner Neil Archer, overnight on Thursday, September 24.
He has been refused bail.
Police previously named him as the sole person of interest in the investigation.
Ms Meyers, 20, was last seen at a Burdett address about 7.30pm on Wednesday, August 26.
Police will return to Mannum on Friday morning to attempt the recovery of Ms Meyers' body.
Her family have been notified of the developments.
The mother of Neil Archer was charged with theft on Wednesday for allegedly using the bank card of the murdered woman.
The mother of Jody Meyers' partner has been charged in connection with her disappearance.
Police told Ms Meyers' sister Tania Parsons on Thursday morning the woman charged with theft was 55-year-old Margaret Archer, of Mannum, the mother of Jody Meyers' partner Neil Archer.
The family said they did not know Ms Archer well.
POLICE have charged a 55-year-old Mannum woman with theft after allegedly using the bank card of suspected murder victim Jody Meyers.
Detectives from the Major Crime Investigation Branch will allege the Mannum woman used Ms Meyers' Bank SA ATM card to withdraw money from the missing woman's account.
The accused was charged at the Murray Bridge Police Station and was bailed to appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court on Wednesday, September 30.
Mannum mother Jody Meyers was last seen about 7pm on Wednesday, August 26 at an Ettrick address by friends and family wearing faded blue denim jeans, a floral top or dress predominately salmon in colour and beige coloured ugg boots.
Police declared her disappearance a major crime on September 11, believing she had been murdered.
But police say the investigation into her disappearance is continuing.
Detectives are asking for help from the public to identify a red Nissan X-Trail (the one seen on the night did not have a black strip down the side) which was alleged to have been seen in the vicinity of Murray Park, Mannum during the evening of Wednesday, August 26 - the night Ms Meyers' was last seen.
