Across the day the Mind Shift forum will discuss topics like how music influences our lives and what are the benefits and risks of technology. It will include 15 industry panelists and two keynote speakers including photographer Stephen Dupont who will be exhibiting his work during the festival, and head of streaming service Rdio Colin Blake.
Panelists include composer, performer and sound designer Terumi Narashima who’s currently working on a collaborative research project to build 3D printed flutes; and UOW’s Associate Professor Katina Michael who’s been researching the social implications of emerging technologies with an emphasis on national security.
