Some concert goers were left fuming after paying around $20 for one drink, while the biggest gripe of the evening was the sound quality taking a huge dive during The Smith Street Band’s set around 6.45pm.
The Melbourne rock group even apologised for the “sound issues” via Twitter on Sunday.
A couple of songs into their set the speakers went silent, with only their drum-kit to be heard though the band kept playing. After a few minutes sound returned, though it was incredibly muffled with intense feedback. It made the vocalists of every band thereafter sound like they were screeching.
Lead singer of The Preatures Isabella Manfredi mocked the terrible sound quality during their set around 8pm.
Ironically about midday Sunday they had pulled out of their set on the remaining day of the festival due to Manfredi “losing her voice”.
