The 19 year old gave a less than amazing performance of the Lenny Kravitz hit “It Ain’t Over Til It’s Over” but Australia voted him to stay in the top seven.
Boy-band In Stereo and duo Jess and Matt had to sing for support – the judges eventually voting the couple – on and off screen – to remain in the competition.

Monday, Judge James Blunt was the harshest critic of Villanueva labeling his performance the “worst performance” he’d seen from Villanueva.
“That was just a terrible song,” he said. “Chris [Isaak] I would have to say to you there’s never ever going to be a moment for Cyrus to shine in that song.”

Villanueva made fun of the choice of song via social media, tweeting “I am so, NOT rock....hahaha!”
Voting lines have now closed. The two acts with the last amount of votes will be announced on Tuesday evening’s show, both battling it out via sing-off to stay in the competition.
