Wollongong police have unveiled a surprise repertoire of dance moves in support of Camp Quality.

The rollicking 3.5-minute Shake Your Groove Thing video shows uniformed police busting desk-side moves and cutting loose across the Southern Region Commander’s office. There is Elvis-style hip thrusting in the lunchroom and a filing cabinet re-imagined as a turntable.

The clip supports Cops for Convoy, Wollongong Local Area Command’s contribution to i98FM’s Camp Quality Convoy, November 15.

“I’m very proud of the police contingency who take part each year, with the 2014 team raising almost $24,000,” Wollongong Superintendent Kyle Stewart said.

“I urge members of the public to get behind this worthy cause.”
