Registrations for racegoers to enter Fashions on the Field begin shortly after the gates open 10am and close at 11.50 am.
Mercury photographers will photograph the entrants, male and female, so they can be viewed online at illawarramercury.com.au to make a choice.
Once a favourite is chosen a vote can be made to #IMfashionfave on the same website until Thursday.
The overall Illawarra Mercury’s People’s Choice winner will be the entrant with the most votes announced on November 13.
They will win a Lawn Marquee Luncheon Voucher for 10 people at Kembla Grange Racecourse and Terence Gregory Race Day Styling Session for two.
Terence Gregory is owned by milliner Victoria Kennedy who is known for her extensive range of fascinators.
Many will be prominent on Melbourne Cup Day at Kembla Grange.
