Camden's Gavin Holder has won Illawarra Rugby Union's Player of the Year award.
The Rams' captain and number eight received the trophy at last night's annual grand final dinner at the Illawarra Master Builders Club.
An Illawarra and NSW Country representative, Holder was a deserved winner, while Avondale's Pauro Collier finished second in polling.
Tech Waratahs fly-half Lee Martin was the competition's leading point-scorer and Avondale's Andre Itula finished as the top try-scorer.
Tech Waratahs coach Sean Filan was named Coach of the Year, Jim Scardanas was the year's top referee, while Angus Le Good (seniors) and Tammy Fletcher-Cairns and Gloria Vann (juniors) were Volunteers of the Year.
Camden's Mark Nightingale (senior) and Matt Lee (under 20) were the Representative Players of the Year.
Illawarra's seven Country players in 2012 were Rhys Peters and Tom Mulready (under 20), Holder, Tim Small, Ben Greentree, Don Nepia and Joel Diggins (senior).
Club champ-winners Avondale received minor premiership trophies in first and second grade, while Vincentia were the third grade minor premiers.
Tech Waratahs and Avondale lock horns in both the first and second grade grand finals on Saturday at WIN Stadium. Tech Waratahs meet Camden in the third grade premiership decider.
