The November 15 run is shaping up to be the best yet.
In 2014 there was $1,578,190 raised after 786 trucks and 1,031 motorbikes participated in the 70 kilometre route through the Illawarra.
This Sunday the journey starts from Appin Road and finishes at Croome Road in Albion Park Rail.
The total raised stands just under $6 million since the first Convoy for children with cancer started in 2005.
Last year was the biggest in the event’s history.
But the organisers are confident 2015 will be bigger.
It will depart under police escort from the Illawarra Coal's West Cliff Colliery at 8am and proceed down Mt Ousley before passing through Warrawong and past Stockland Shellharbour.
It concludes with a free Family Fun Day at the Croome Road Sporting Complex where the lead motorbikes and trucks are expected to arrive from around 9am.
Entertainment included performances from pop/urban group Justice Crew, singer/songwriter Nathaniel and Luke Koteras.
There will also be a freestyle motocross display featuring some of the best riders from around Australia,
Truck and bike registrations are available online now at www.i98.com.au.
