With Viva La Gong, Festival of Flight, Camp Quality Convoy and koala Imogen’s first birthday. It is a question many are asking.
And it will involve some strategic planning for people wanting to take part in more than one.
Symbio Wildlife Park is inviting families to the first birthday celebrations of koala joey, Imogen, on Saturday and Sunday.
The Helensburgh zoo has a special offer online. For every parent pre-purchasing an adult pass they receive a free entry for a child.
And visitors are invited to sign Imogen's birthday card.
She has become a social media sensation and touched the hearts of millions after being hand reared by Kylie Elliott and Matt Radnidge. On Symbio’s Facebook and Youtube pages alone there was the equivalent of 1561 full 24 hours days of viewing around the world.
On Sunday i98FM’s Camp Quality Convoy starts at 8am from West Cliff Colliery on Appin Road and finishes at Croome Road, Albion Park Rail.
Following the convoy there is a free Family Fun Day at the Croome Road Sporting Complex where the lead motorbikes and trucks are expected to arrive from 9am.
Entertainment includes performances from Justice Crew, Nathaniel and Luke Koteras.
In 2014 more than $1.57 million was raised and 786 trucks and 1,031 motorbikes took part. Further information at www.i98.com.au.
On Saturday in MacCabe Park from 11am to 8.30pm Viva la Gong gives locals and visitors the chance to celebrate Wollongong’s creative and cultural diversity.
It is the 20th year of the event that brings together professional musicians, artists and dancers and attracts 25,000 people.
It kicks off with a 600 people strong street parade running from the Arts Precinct, through Crown Street Mall, down Globe Lane and into the park.
There is also a Family Interactive Zone. Further information at the Viva la Gong website.
On Sunday the annual Festival of Flight comes to Stanwell Park with skydivers, hang-gliders, biplane acrobatics, fly-pasts of historic aircraft and kite flying.
There are also market stalls, rides, food and live music. Further information from Destination Wollongong.
It coincides with the 100th anniversary year of the death of Lawrence Hargrave.
