O'Shannessy made the last 16 of the qualifying tournament, but was offered passage through to the main draw for the second of two events at Beaton Park.
He will take on Fanselow on Wednesday, who was beaten 6-1, 6-4 by Ben Mitchell in the first final on Sunday.
Doubles title winner Maverick Banes will be the first of the seeds on court on Tuesday, against Scott Puodziunas, with Thirroul’s Blake Mott also in action.
Meanwhile, Wollongong’s Ashley Fisher will again partner with fellow Australian Dayne Kelly when the Wollongong International resumes on Tuesday.
Fisher and Kelly are drawn to play Aaron Addison and Damian Farinola in the first round on court one on Tuesday. First tournament winner, Banes will chase another crown with new partner Jacob Grills.
