There is now a wonderful carpark on Church St. (often half full) for commuters, a five-minute walk from the station.
Meanwhile the council does not book illegally parked cars on the grass verge along the tennis court near Gibson Park, which force pedestrians to walk on the street, and threatens the health of the trees whose roots are being compromised.
Why not?

GOVERNMENT SWITCH
I am a 73-year-old female invalid. I am bed bound.
If I want to get into my lounge chair I have to go in a sling and be lifted on to a chair using a lifter.
For about 18 months I have had wonderful ladies seven days a week for personal care.
I was paying so much and the government was paying so much.
Now, thanks to the Liberals. my life is turned upside down.
Because I am over the age of 65 the government won't help me.
I have to move from my IRT ladies to strangers.
I am not the only person in this position.
Apparently when we reach 65 we are not worthy of help. If this is your situation write to your local Labor Member.

Rest in Peace Mt.Keira Ring Track.
No longer worthy of attention, maintenance or upkeep.
How sad that one of our best tracks in Wollongong is no longer given any time or interest.
It is littered, infested with weeds and degraded.
We can continue to let it be ignored or take action. Which will it be?
Dave Harmer, Keiraville
STEEL HERE
With just a handful of votes keeping the steelworks open for the time being, a closer examination of the situation as it really stands for our workforce presents an almost endless litany of deceit and false hope.
Firstly the reason that the Maldon to Dombarton railway line was never completed was that there has always been a long term plan to close our works, and the Labor government of the day played a pussy foot delay game of keeping hope alive.
The Works is temporarily saved long enough to let the Coalition Government go to the polls to win another term.
The Turnbull Government Super Heroes have their backs turned on our community from the beginning.
Secondly, the sell off of Port Kembla Harbour has cleared the way for massive imports of Chinese steel destined to be rolled at a closed steelworks also sold off at a bargain basement price to Chinese trading interests.
Thirdly, steel making and not steel rolling is where most of the jobs will go.

Woolworths in Bulli opened today. The traffic and congestion through the now ex-village was slow and confused. Six sets of traffic lights within a kilometre.
Who can't love that?
Goodbye slow, relaxed and sleepy. Boo, hiss! Vale Bulli.

KIAMA MUM’S FUNNEL WEB SPIDER HALLOWEEN NIGHTMARE
My worst nightmare. My dad got bitten by one once. It was in the middle of my mum and dad's bed. He rolled over and it bit him on the back.

OMG I would die from shock first if this happened to me. I hate spiders!
