The man, aged in his 30s, lost control of the bike as he was travelling east along Fowlers Road on Sunday morning.
His motorcycle veered onto the wrong side of the road, where he clipped a car travelling in the opposite direction before crashing into a four-wheel drive parked outside a residence.
The man sustained head and chest injuries as well as limb fractures in the crash, Ambulance NSW Illawarra district officer Inspector Terry Morrow said.
Paramedics stabilised him at the scene, before loading him into an ambulance and transporting him to nearby Lakelands Oval, where the NSW Ambulance rescue helicopter was able to land.
The man was flown to St George Hospital in a serious condition.
Police investigators remained at the crash site.
