They were told that the memorial is not possible because of The Blue Mile and then because Flagstaff Hill is a heritage area.
How do these councillors then put up a proposal for the same area?
I am not against the Love Lock idea but let there be a level playing field.
The Vietnamese community have made a large contribution to Wollongong and our way of life and are often the first to offer financial aid to those in need.
Councillors please have a look at the Vietnamese application and give the community some good news.

IT’S NOT A SPORT
Leading with the feet in violent situations is now the norm it would seem.
UFC and cage fighting is attracting large crowds who get off watching gladiator-style confrontation.
This past week on a current affair style program, two women were head kicking one-another.
One woman won the fight by kicking down her opponent, then pounded her head into submission on the canvas.
On tonight’s news report we saw that very same kicking between the anti-Islam and anti-racism demonstrators.
They sure knew the finer points of their sport.
It’d be a kick in the head for most sport-loving Australians, watching our once fair-go sporting lifestyle slipping away in the name of a sport that should never grace our sporting pages or televised sporting programs.

FRUSTATING WAIT
It’s great to get connected to the new NBN optic fibre network, but its not so great when the NBN network cannot connect to the rest of the Australian mobile phone network.
After getting all the technical wiring work done my service provider, the Government-sponsored Southern Phone, advises me that it will be at least three weeks before I can make calls to the mobile phone network in Australia.
Apparently the new NBN system isn't all its cracked up to be after all.
It has a lot of bugs in it and not just the Secret Service ones.

WE NEED TO FIGHT BACK
A while back I viewed a meeting of Islamic politicians in from the British Parliament on Facebook and these men stated that their numbers may be small at present but with time their numbers would grow and it may take 20 to 50 years but Sharia Law would rule Britain.
Is this the long term plan for Australia?
Is this why their Mufti will not speak to us in our language and he constantly calls any action against Islamic State as wrong.
One has to wonder how many in our midst think the same.
The only way to wipe out these madmen is the treat them the same way they treat us.
We are all aware that it is barbaric but if we want Democracy to survive then bomb them out of existence and to hell with all these mealy-mouthed politicians who think that they can negotiate with these rabid mongrels.
It's time for an eye for an eye and if you want to be allowed to follow your chosen religion whatever that may be then the only way is to fight back whatever means that takes.
I like a great many people of all races know the destruction of war and would not like to see it again but when those who would murder men, women and children just because they believe differently, we have no option but to defend ourselves to the maximum.
