The board was formed in 2001 as a council committee to provide a voice for the local sporting community.
Council is holding a number of drop in sessions, as well as an online survey to allow residents to make comment as part of the review.
The drop in sessions will be held on Monday, December 7 at the Ulladulla Civic Centre; Tuesday, December 8 at the Erowal Bay Community Hall; and Wednesday, December 9 at the Nowra Administrative Centre.
Each meeting will be held from 5.30pm to 7pm.
The review is part of the ongoing review by council of all its committees and operations.
Consultant Michael Davey, of The Strategic Edge, has undertaken a review of the board and its operation, meeting with the board as a whole, as well as one on one meetings.
