In August this year workers found a teddy bear on Memorial Drive when the road was closed for maintenance.
Efforts to find the owner were unsuccessful and the RMS will donate the bear to charity.
They’re hoping for a different result with another found object – an iPad discovered at the top of Bulli Pass during the set-up for last week’s Waterfall to Bulli road closure.
“When it was found, it was still 80 per cent charged and there is a picture of a little dog on the home screen which is locked,” an RMS spokesman said.
“So if you have recently lost an iPad and recognise the little dog on the screen, rest assured it is safe and sound and ready for pick-up from Roads and Maritime’s Wollongong office.”
The Wollongong office can be contacted on 4222 3217.
If the iPad’s owner is not found, it will be handed into NSW Police.
