Mona Vale dominated the opening NSW round of the Team Navy Australian Surf Rowers League at Mollymook on Saturday, securing a one-two finish in the open men’s division with Cronulla Wilds Cards third.

Bulli men’s crew made a solid start to the season finishing fourth.
Elouera Wilko crew took out the open women’s division ahead of North Cronulla Blueys and South Curl Curl with Austinmer the best of the local crews finishing fifth.
Gerringong proved surprise packets in the reserve men’s finishing second to Coogee with the Windang Walla Wallas crew third.
Bulli finished third in the under 23 men’s division behind Cronulla Crocs and Avalon Beach Pinkies with Corrimal Black fifth while Austinmer finished second in the under 19 men’s behind North Cronulla Purds.
The Team Navy events act as the local qualifying series for the chance to represent NSW at the ASRL Interstate Championships at Shellharbour in February next year, Australia’s biggest stand-alone surf boat event.
