The tasty, go-to meal has been bumped to a cost of $10.50 with the schnitty’s devoted following demanding the $7.50 price be reinstated.
University of Wollongong students are preparing to go into battle with a petition already attracting 500 signatures in four days.
‘‘We have been a loyal patron of the North Gong Pub for several glorious, schnitty fuelled years. In all this time, I have never strayed from the $7.50 schnitty,’ the petition states.
‘‘This is our birthright. I demand satisfaction. Stand with me UOW, together we shall not be moved. We will be heard. These are our schnittys.’’
