Three giant water-slides will be erected at Reddall Reserve for one day only on Saturday January 9.
In light of recent injuries caused by a public slide at Ulladulla in November, the company contracted to provide the seven meter tall structures will have a safety monitor at each slide.
“They ensure that the correct number of people are on the slide at any one time,” said Mayor Marianne Saliba. "We are aware of the popularity of the free slide concept and increased the number of slides to alleviate waiting times as much as possible.”
It coincides with free open days to be held at council pools in Albion Park and Oak Flats with free youth activities, giant inflatable toys, music and sausage sizzle.
