A 22-year-old woman was taken to Wollongong Hospital with surprisingly minor injuries last night after her car overturned on the F6 Freeway at Figtree.
The special operations ambulance paramedic came to the woman’s aid. Fire rescue workers later cut her out of the car and she was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries including neck pain.
A truck was travelling behind the woman but was not involved in the accident.
The accident blocked the southbound lane but normal traffic flow resumed within the hour.
The woman remained in a stable condition last night.
