The lead singer of The Easybeats died in Moruya on the South Coast last month, aged 68, after falling ill with pneumonia.
Wright was known as Australia’s first international rock star following the success of The Easybeats song Friday On My Mind, which hit the number one spot in the US, UK and Australia in the 1960s.
After the band broke up, the wild rock’n’roller known as Little Stevie, delivered two legendary rock albums of the 70s - Hard Rock (1974) and Black-Eyed Bruiser (1975).
His funeral will be held at St Andrews Cathedral at 11am on Friday and is open to all family, friends and fans.
Wright’s partner, Fay Walker and his son, Nick, from a previous marriage are expected to attend.
