While more than 100 employees were made redundant, Endeavour Energy executives took home almost $4.6 million, according to the company’s annual report.
That figure included more than $400,000 in bonuses to 10 executives.
CEO Vince Graham topped the list, taking home wages and bonuses totalling almost $1 million.
This was in the same year the company axed more than 120 jobs, after the Australian Energy Regulator slashed Endeavour’s working budget.
Electrical Trades Union secretary Steve Butler was angered that, at the time when workers were losing their jobs, executives were taking home paypackets larger than most employees’ total salaries.
Endeavour Energy was contacted for comment.
