Rotary is renowned for running barbecues at many events. Recognising that the IMB Community Foundation and Southern Phone quickly responded with financial help after the theft.
The trailer helps fund Rotary’s considerable charity work. And as a result of IMB Bank’s support members see an opportunity to do even more.
The club this week unveiled a new far more versatile trailer.
It will be used by Rotarians at major community events but the club sees other fundraising potential by hiring it out.
“We have been able to manufacture a pretty upmarket all-singing all-dancing trailer..which is available to the community..for hire,” president Michael Hough said.
The new trailer can be hooked into power to run lights and two large pie warmers. It also features a large gas fired barbecue and considerable storage.
